Meeting a Living Master

I have met Guruji in a remote area of Himalayas, Pithoragarh, when there was a meditation camp around 2019.
I didn’t have much idea about spirituality other than what I read in books, but I had and still have that immense urge to KNOW.
On the first day of the camp, in the night session with guruji it just struck me that, HE is the person who knows THAT, in fact later I realised that HE IS COMPLETELY THAT.
And in that camp Guruji, initiated us into the MAHA RUDRA KRIYA practice, and it seems it started working on the mind and body, many changes started to happen.
Later, I continued to attend the meditation camps, where Guruji started sharing different dimensions of different things and explained in detail about mechanics of mind and of the body.
After years of contemplation and by the GRACE of him, layer by layer started peeling off automatically.
Any time I had any experience I used to share with Guruji and he suggested one simple framework, “any experience however profound just have gratitude for that, and do namaste to it and move on, no need to stick to it”. This, when I followed in day to day life, it simply allowed me not to attach with any fancy experiences, and enabled me to just flow with life.
Essential moments that stuck with me and finding expression through me are,
● “This moment is the highest thing, wherever I am and whatever is happening with me in this moment is THE THING”. I later understood that, If it is so, then mind ceases to exist and there is no other way.
● This is all the play of attention. As my attention and focus is getting sharpened, deeper aspects started coming to the surface about how thoughts come to us, how situations pan out, whom we meet, and above all day to day life smoothens.
● Guruji initiated me into a mantra, and one sadhana of Maa Devi (which has to be practised at midnight hours). They have a tremendous impact in cleaning the mental patterns.
● Being grateful for whatever I have right now, instead of complaining about this and that, keeps me happy and joyful irrespective of outside situations.
● After many years when we met Guruji recently, he explained how this moment can be the ONLY DOORWAY, which practically altered whatever I am till now.
I practice whatever I can, but deep down this realization dawned that, it is by the GRACE OF GURU only the dissolution is possible, not by my effort.
