Sacred Site

For sincere seekers of spirituality who want to dedicate their lives in the path of self realisation, we are preparing a sacred site where they can practise meditation and spiritual practices. We are constructing a Shiv Shakti temple in Nainital, Uttarakhand, to make a high vibration place for seekers to stay in deep meditative states for longer periods of time without external disturbances.

A Shiv Shakti temple is a place which supports people to dive into meditative states where their attention can turn inward and settle in pure awareness. In such meditative states, the energy of thoughts and attention settles in the stillness of pure awareness. Shiv means awareness, which is always still and is considered to be the absolute source. Shakti means energy and is considered as the dynamic aspect of Shiv. When attention settles into the stillness of pure awareness, Shakti merges into Shiv.

This upcoming temple lies in the same belt of 79° longitude in which several sacred Indian temples are situated, such as Kedarnath, Badrinath, Panch Kedars, Panch Badri, Jageshwar, Rameshwaram and Tirupati.

The vibrations of this Shiv Shakti temple, which has a Swayambhu Shivling similar to that in Kedarnath, will help those who want to realise their true self. What is the significance of Swayambhu Shivling? This means this stone structure is in its original natural state and it was not sculpted or altered by humans. Its natural positive vibe attracted us towards it and its striking resemblance to the natural shivling of Kedarnath temple inspired us to build a temple around it. This site will be a home of awakened beings and genuine spiritual seekers.
